Connecting with the Community

The Brandi Fenton Memorial Park is a dream that’s getting ever closer to reality. A combination public and private partnership intends to build this Tucson community park between River Road and the Rillito River, just west of Dodge. Plans for the park include Tucson’s only public equestrian center, three soccer fields, four basketball courts, a children’s splash park, dog runs, recreation areas, ramadas, a memorial garden, and much more. The park was a plan initiated by the Fenton family in memory of their compassionate and devoted daughter Brandi, whose life was tragically cut short during an automobile accident on March 22, 2003, just shy of her 14th birthday. Her sprit inspired her family and friends to guide this project, and they feel her spirit will live on through the happiness and beauty derived from this community park.
